Meg Mandy has worked on local, state, and federal campaigns across the country as a political strategist and communications consultant. She got her start working in politics in 2008 with the Obama for America campaign and turn Nebraska's 2nd Congressional District blue for the first time. In 2016, Meg managed the historic campaign of Senator Tony Vargas (LD 7) and went on to work as his Legislative Aide. She managed the successful ballot initiative to expand Medicaid in 2018, giving over 90,000 working Nebraskans access to affordable healthcare. In 2020, Meg managed Senator Vargas's re-election campaign and served as senior staff on the Biden presidential campaign in Omaha, flipping the district from red to blue for the second time in her career and in state history.

Meg is the proud mom of three sons. In her free time, she enjoys volunteering in the Omaha community and as an advisor for her sorority, Alpha Xi Delta, and enjoys theater, cooking, reading, learning, and traveling.

 Brandon Bayer is a graduate of Dodge High School in Northeast Nebraska. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Nebraska-Omaha. Brandon has worked in campaigns since 2012 when he started as a Field Organizer with John Ewing for Congress. He started his own political management firm, Blue Fire Strategies, in 2015 and ran that until co-founding One House Strategies in 2023. Brandon has also worked in nonprofit and government roles, including as a Legislative Aide to State Senator Lynne Walz and a Senior Policy Advisor to Lincoln Mayor Chris Beutler. Brandon is married to his wife, Amanda. They have two cats, Helen and Norman. 

Adelle Burk has over 13 years of experience working in political campaigns, advocacy, and state and local government. After starting her career as a field director for state and local races, she managed Barbara Weitz’s campaign for NU Board of Regents in 2018, defeating the incumbent, a former mayor and congressman. Adelle was the Deputy Campaign Manager for Leirion Gaylor Baird in 2019 and served as a Policy Aide during the mayor’s first term. Most recently, Adelle was the Director of Public Affairs for Planned Parenthood Advocates of Nebraska, where she provided support for more than 40 endorsed candidates. In her free time, Adelle enjoys serving on several community boards and rooting for the Packers with her wife, Amy.

Jordan graduated from Nebraska Wesleyan University with a double major in Political Science and Philosophy and Religion. As a senior, she interned in Washington D.C. with the DSCC on Rules and Administration focusing on voting rights policy and research. Afterwards, she joined as a Coordinated Campaign Organizer for Tony Vargas’s 2022 Congressional race, managing canvassers and voter contact. Recently, she worked as a Field Organizer for the Paid Sick Leave Initiative, helping manage the collection of tens of thousands of signatures for working Nebraskans. As a Nebraskan native, Jordan is driven by her love for engaging with voters and developing organizational strategies that push past goalposts. 

Ronnie Turner is a political organizer, activist and former restaurant worker who serves as the Finance and Compliance Director at One House Strategies. He was born and raised in Omaha but has lived in Lincoln for most of his adulthood. Having come from a humble working-class family he has dedicated himself to political action that unites and empowers people of all races, religions, nationalities, classes and genders across the state of Nebraska.

Kevin has worked political campaigns since 2004, crisscrossing the country learning the ropes first in field, then digital, then communications. He has worked not only on campaigns, but for non-profits and local government. Most recently, he successfully ran the Mayor's races in Lincoln in 2019 and 2023.

He and his wife, Sarah, have five cats (too many).

 Trent is a graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln where he studied political science, economics, and criminal justice. He started his career as a field organizer in 2022 and has been on campaigns and in the legislature ever since. Trent was born and raised in Lincoln, and plans to stay in Nebraska for life. He is a passionate advocate for working class families and is focused on ensuring we have representation that takes into account all points of view.  

Tia is a political powerhouse with two decades of experience turning tough races into wins. She began her career in state and federal government before spending nearly a decade on the ground in mayoral, congressional, gubernatorial, and presidential campaigns. Since 2016, she’s been a driving force in political mail, crafting smart, strategic messaging that delivers results at every level.

Tia has worked on over 50 legislative races. Her work has helped flip the Minnesota Senate and the Virginia House, strengthen Maryland’s legislative majorities, and—most recently—she took lead on the DLCC’s Wisconsin IE that broke the GOP’s veto-proof majority. She knows what it takes to win the hard fights: the right candidate, the right message, and the right strategy for the district. That’s how Democrats win in statistically tough territory—and that’s where Tia thrives.

In 2024, Tia also served as Senior Advisor to the Harris/Walz ticket in Nebraska, helping protect the “blue dot” and secure Harris’ only swing state victory.

Tia lives in Des Moines with her husband and their two energetic boys.

Maura is a veteran political strategist with over 15 years of experience specializing in state legislative campaigns, campaign management, organizing, and direct mail. Maura has spent her career helping Democrats win tough races, with a particular focus on flipping legislative chambers. In 2024, she played an integral role in one of the year’s biggest Democratic victories: helping add 10 seats to the Wisconsin State Assembly. Her deep knowledge of the state’s political landscape and her hands-on experience running legislative campaigns from the ground up make her a trusted strategist in battleground states.

For the past seven years, she has produced award-winning direct mail for candidates up and down the ballot, with a sharp eye for message, strategy, and helping candidates grow into their voice—especially in competitive primaries.
